Stuart Kestenbaum is the former director of the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and Maine’s poet laureate from 2016 to 2020. He has been a visiting writer at arts programs including Penland, Cranbook Academy of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, and Penn State, and designed the new arts program in Monson, Maine.
